How the release of a new model affects sales and the price of previous model?
I know that normally the price low, but the case at hand, the Nikon D90 has risen in price in the last month due to lack of availability due to production slowed and stopped to make way for D7000. What are the trends in price fluctuations, when this happened before?
As another said that the longer you wait, the more you lose. I can not wait D7000 is the replacement of the D90 perhaps replacing the D3000 and D5000. The D90 is both backward and forward compatible, Nikon knows the technology they are working out in the next 10 years, and try to make the current versions able to adapt to future as much as possible. This will keep your product line more. Prices do not fall into the SLR of the year ………… after it was stopped being produced. This is because the business of buying shares in specialist camera model and be a supplier of them limited time. Sure you can find one here or there in a big box store at a reduced price, but not at half price. Good luck …
