Tips for a novice photographer.?
¿I can have some simple advice, I am a beginner in photography. I have 16 years and I will take a class later this year and I'm saving for a nikon d7000. I think I have a passion for photography and want to pursue a career. I have a flickr, but nothing on it because now they have a cheap DSLR (I'm a perfectionist quality right?) lol But the practice of it. Is there any good websites or forums where I can learn techniques, get some tips, etc? I'm not blaming the "poor picture" on my camera! I never said my pictures were bad, I said the quality was not the best. Why should I even begin to take my interest in photography even without a good camera that offers more options and better quality. I take very good pictures and lots of other people agree, none of that cliche about a flower, the more I edited of course.
Yes, I know this is the "information age" and digital and electronic tablets and information online, blah, blah, blah, but not yet no substitute for a good book. This particular book is helpful for you. You can have this with you, the study at any time and use the camera, and literally has a MAJOR advantage over anyone else in your photography class in the future. I should also add that if you are blaming the poor pictures the camera, then you will be very disappointed when the money is spent on "better" camera and photography is not better. To create good photographs, not the camera. A better camera in the hands of a skilled photographer is a tool that can enable a better job, but his skill level is what you are doing damage to your pictures now, not the camera. steve
