Nikon 18-200 mm or 70 to 300 lenses for sports?

I am looking at upgrading my camera (now I have a Nikon D50 and want to get a D7000). Today I have a Quantaray (I know it's cheap, but I could afford) 70-300 lens, a Nikon 18-70mm and Nikon 50 mm fixed lens. I take lots of pictures of my soccer games and girls only a variety of family photos or pictures of foods for my blog. I'm looking for two different games (this seems the best way forward for me). One has Nikon 18-200 lens, and the other has a 70-300 and 18-105. I do not like to lose 100 mm if it makes a big difference in shooting sports. I'm not sure what the best route for me go.

For the shooting sports field, the 70-300 mm may be a better option if you do not plan to move outside the field. I successfully used the Nikkor 18-200 lens mm when shooting motocross and field sports, but my favorite is the lens Nikkor 300 mm f / 2.8. 18-200 mm lens sample http://s862.photobucket.com/albums/ab182/fotomanaz/Answers 20album% /? action = view & current = ISDR 231c.jpg 300 mm f / 2.8 http://s862.photobucket.com/ target sample albums/ab182/fotomanaz/Answers% 20album /? action = view & current = iCYO_9697c.jpg shooting at night require a faster lens You see, the shooting sports require a substantial investment in the objectives. The D7000 is a good choice of camera
