Passing a Nikon D200 with D7000 … is that an upgrade?

Currently I have a D200, and yes, it's getting old in the world of technology … I have it about 1 1 / 2 years, used on eBay for $ 550. I want to upgrade soon, but I can not afford the D300s, and I want to save for a full frame, but not like the D700 is being replaced in the short term …. So I was looking at the D7000 for my budget … is considered an upgrade …? Or downgrade ….? The main thing was seeing was the high ISO range, and control low-level noise.

Yes of course! While one could spend hours looking at the data sheet and say no, the fun things about Nikon is performing better than it looks on paper. Shot with both the D90 and D200 simultaneously (And the D7000 is much better than the D90 too) and the D90 is my first shooter for several reasons. While I lose sync PC and 10-pin remote port almost never use so no big deal. The only other major issues with both the D90 and D7000 (which I used extensively) is crapdial and lack of control of the body of the matrix of the FA … As for the little light that is the main reason for my D90 is my first shooter, as it performs 10 times better than my D200 (and D90 is older than the D7000). I take pictures crisp ISO 1600 + in the D7000 to borrow and I am very happy with the ISO 1250 standard on my D90. On the D200 I'm happy if ISO 800 is legible and that if I take the random noise and sometimes I have to ISO 200 and up. The images are sharper and the raws are much easier to work with the dynamic range is greater. In fact, shoot without NR (noise reduction turned on my D90 as my D200 is at maximum) While you could push the paper specifications every day I am here to say that the D200 D7000 blows out of the water in many ways to ignore and image quality is one of the big issues. I use lenses also play an important role. Shot every 2.8 s "so you can grab my D90 during the filming of the night. A f / 4 may be too slow for the full picture of everything that is not …
