nikon d7000 hot pixel issue? PLEASE HELP?
Just bought a D7000. There are about 4 pixels hot live view and video, and images Still shooting in the dark, mainly above 400 ISO, there are a number of hot pixels. I'm not a pixel peeper, and I know some hot pixels are normal, but these pictures were taken with short exposures …. 1.2 seconds. I contacted Nikon and was told that a firmware update will be available later this year. Not change the pixels unless you can prove that occur under "normal" range. The question is, should I wait for this firmware update (which really help? As far as I know it is not known), or I have to pay the 200-300 dollars that actually have no return and it is best to buy? Please help! I am very disappointed Nikon and the need for some kind of fix for this. Thanks! http://support.nikonusa.com/ci/fattach/get/204521/1291330032
Let me get this straight … there's 27 days until the end of this year. The firmware update will probably be here within a week or two. Can not wait for that. Get a canon!
