Nikon 24-70mm 70-200mm 2.8 or 2.8?
It's me again. lol I was here asking a question the other day about whether or not to get a D7000 or D300. Well, I decided instead of getting a new camera body to choose a new target. Therefore, my question is about whether to obtain a 24-70mm 2.8 or a 70-200mm VR II 2.8? Currently I have a 35 mm 1.8 prime lens, a 18-55mm VR lens and 55-200mm. Above all, I Shott photos of family and friends. I am not a professional, so this is only a hobby … I love it. That said, I'd get a great lens. (No, I do not consider a Sigma or Tamron lens) Here are my thoughts: I could go with the 24-70mm and get rid of my 35mm 1.8, while allowing me to keep my 55-200mm VR. Or I can ditch the 55-200mm VR lens and go for the 70-200mm VR II while keeping the target of 35 mm cousins. Your thoughts?
24-70mm would be good for family and friends, with a 55-200mm frankly, it already has. It makes no sense to set aside 35 mm.
