Should I get an extended warranty when buying a new digital SLR?
I was thinking of buying the nikon d7000 BH and I was thinking in getting your extended warranty Sagemax. But I'm not sure if it's worth the money. Many people do not like extended warranties, and say that it is a waste of money. Should I get or not? Thanks in advance.
That is a question that only you can answer. Rarely buy an extended warranty (unless by something that is known to have problems … as the connection cable iPod nano). I have never bought an extended warranty on any of my camera equipment. Or my camera the neck with a neck strap or in a padded sleeve. I can keep my equipment dry cleaning / / protected and I've never had any problems my (DSLR old just turned 11 and still looks almost new and runs like new …. and has been used in the forest / rain / snow / etc.). It comes down to how well they will take care of your computer. If you are the type to leave a camera lens and then throw it in the back seat of his car when going to "party" with friends on the beach, then accidentally get "danger" of the warranty. If you treat him as a vulnerable piece of precision electronic equipment, then you should be fine without it.
