nikon d70s firmware updates

nikon 18-200 vr lens is not fully compatible with the D70s body. How do you work?

Nikon 18-200 VR lens at f/18 is not focused at infinity with the D70s body. There is no firmware update available for this model. Can you suggest some solution for this?

That is a problem with the camera, no lens. You can just manual focus lens. You may want to buy a new camera (ie D40, D80).
