nikon wireless remote camera?

I just bought a wireless remote control of the Nikon brand for my Nikon D80 and have no idea how pair it with my camera and did not come with directions. d80 and I lost my manual. PLEASE HELP!

At the top of the camera, next to the small LCD screen is a button that has what looks like a pile of paper. Above him is a picture of a clock (timer) and the remote control. Hold down this button while Turning the wheel until both the timer and remote display the symbol on the LCD screen (2-second delay with the remote control) or a remote control (access Wireless instantaneous trip). Also, be sure to pull the little clear plastic tab on the remote control to activate the battery. Otherwise nothing happen.
