This is my second camera for my Fuji S9500 SLR camera digital. The update is completely different planets, as this is my first venture into real DSLR. D90 is stable, consistent, reliable, running all the pictures, offering High quality and performance. I did a search on a large before buying, and look at the Canon 550D (T2i) instead, but then reading the D90, and the use of one of my friends, I was sold.
The aim with him, 18-105mm lens is a good integral and can not cover half of portraits in the foreground. You can not miss with this camera, but was prepared to read the manual and options along very confusing menu system. But believe me, when the camera rarely manually when you are by large numbers of capture, or Candida world around them.
Battery life is fantastic, more than 800 shots per charge. The controls are fairly simple to use and whether you need it. D90 behind the technology that makes life easier for you to do most of the nitty gritty of hard work and you can concentrate on the composition and the catch.

Amazing
Where to start, this camera is amazing, it's easy environment (after a brief review of manual), very accessible, since they do not have to access the menu every 2 seconds to change the seconds, just use the brand to turn on the front and back, and the photos are simply amazing. Even an amateur from a point and shoot 10 times can benefit from this camera, just amazing

Do not disappoint
Wasteful this camera and went over budget, but I'm glad I did. On D-90 is easy to use despite its many features, it feels balanced and weighted properly and is comfortable to use. The goal was a nice surprise – image quality is excellent. 3 "LCD makes a difference. Has had for over a years and I have no complaints, but found limited lens so I added a 18-200mm VR zoom wide angle lens and I am very happy with it.
Fun and educational step-up of a S + P
I've been taking pictures with non-DSLR (but quality) the cameras for years, but decided it was the right time to "graduate" to a digital SLR. My goal was to have a camera that both my wife and I could use for everything .. Pictures of family camping trips, the wildlife, sports action shots, etc, and I knew the only way to do all those things, so it was with a good camera and some good lenses.
I almost went with the Lumix DMC-GF1, attracted to its small body. However, I ended up deciding against it because of the relatively small number of lenses available four thirds (both from Panasonic in the market and in general), and the huge number of high-quality lenses available from Nikon (Nikkor) and other providers such as Tamron, Sigma, so I decided against the Canon line of problems I had with Canon in others (no camera) devices.
Anyway, out of the box with the kit lens 18-105mm, I was taking great pictures effortlessly with the "automatic" settings. I also purchased the nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G zoom large increase for some seriously. But what really impressed me was very easy to use the shutter and aperture priority modes – before I realized, I was taking high-shutter-speed and high photo frame by children in the pool – the good shots all have the "wow" factor that I'm with other cameras.
I say that this camera is "educational" because its use is actually teaching me how to be a better photographer! Before I got the D90, I had an understanding way of opening, shutter speed, focal lengths, etc., but the use of D90 has made me want to maximize of it, so I paid more attention to how you're doing what, and now I understand why some lenses cost so much.
I'm playing with the purchase of a "prime", faster, target, because I like to have some neat "bokeh" images – and also a macro lens for taking some close ups.
So, in summary, if you are thinking of climbing from one chamber to the lower pro-consumer camera digital SLR, the D90 is (IMHO) a fantastic choice.

D90 is fine
The Nikon D90 kit lens is of excellent quality for the money, But be careful, with more than 20 buttons to find out. So the first time I used it, I just put on automatic and expect the best. The shots were a little overexposed, so read the manual. The following shots were underexposed. So you have to play with a bit of it right. Most of the buttons and options than ever used. I have three friends who all use of this camera, and impressive professional results. The camera weight is compared to say a Canon Powershot, and is not will fit in your pocket. But overall, this is an outstanding reflex camera.
