Update the camera? What to get?
Hello. I have a Nikon D40, a camera well, but I feel the need to update anything higher. Seeing as I'm short of money right now, I was thinking about saving for a D90 with kit lens (18-105mm I think?). But I was thinking of the D80 is much cheaper and if you try to get it used online. Any help is appreciated.
Accessories to the emancipation of the great response. I had a D200 and fantastic and has sealed magnesium alloy body very strong. The D80 is mostly a D200 reduced, but not the body strong. There are still a ton of lens options that are compatible with the D40. I recommend taking a look at Ken Rockwell Graphic Nikon lens compatibility for a sweet goal. D40 rocks. Hold on to it and use their money for lenses. The lens of the camera survive. If you plan on sticking with Nikon DX format for awhile, I recommend the impressive lens Nikon 200mm VR-18. I love it.
