Can anyone recommend a good telescope to purchase and use with my nikon d40x digital SLR camera?
I recently used my Nikon D40x SLR camera to take some photos of the full moon with a telephoto lens of 200 mm. After that experience, I am interested in buying a telescope that you can use with my Nikon D40x even better to take photos of the moon and other night sky bodies. Can anyone recommend a good telescope that would be good for this purpose. I prefer to spend well under $ 1000 for any telescope and gear. Thank you.
