Is there a fairly easy solution of a Nikon Coolpix 885 digital camera that was left out in the rain?
Working (zooms and flashes) except you can not see the image – no image appears on the screen and the image can not be transferred to the computer. It's just black. I hope, naively, is a part I can change myself. One last attempt before the trash.
Put in a drybox for a few days. Hopefully getting rid of all the water still in the camera. My friend once dropped the camera, a digital SLR camera made in the pool (!!!), and then putting it in the drybox for a few days, it runs perfectly again.
