Is there a comparable digital camera for the Nikon D3, but less expensive?
I attend an art school for photography and the need for good digital, but the Nikon D3 that promote this out of my reach – well, I'm a student! Is there anything nearly as good but less expensive?
I have to scratch head, and I wonder why a school of a student who wants to start on the picture to go out and buy one of the chambers of industry top ?!?!? As an art director at a communications company, to successfully produce the much more moderate photography equipment. I can recommend Nikon D200 and D80 bodies such as the actual cost platforms, at the very beginning. They have more features than most photographers will never use. The D300 is a fairly recent addition and exceeds the capabilities the D200. What is most important for your needs is to spend the money on what is really critical … the glass front of the camera. There was no word on the purchase the right products "super" zoom lenses and budget. Do your homework here and find good-quality lenses whenever possible. Once you have the process and techniques down, then move on to a high-level body and take the lenses with you.
