I have this because I am a starting photographer, along with the 50mm this camera is crazy. I liked the control of the Olympus E-520 a little better, but got the hang of this. Do not like the scroll wheel next to the shutter button, as if it were the Nikon and Olympus, which can be moved with the thumb I think it would be quicker to change speed and aperture. account of the LCD screen is lighter than the Olympus, but it seems to me sorta dim daylight. I like the anti-dust feature is on when the closing order not to delay the rise time. portability, obviously, not a cousin of his dslr sound great, but I gave it four stars anyway because its lighter than my old film camera and so solidly built. Grip was my main concern not really comfortable and does not allow a grip as firm as Nikon or Olympus e520 D3000. these cameras feel like they were designed to the contour of your hand. Still, could hold it with greasy hands, unlike the slippery crappy plasticky Pentax cameras that feel like those used playstation controls sweating at Walmart. buttons and layout of this camera I remember the original Xbox controller, looks good, but when you try to use its awkward, sorta painful, and you find with the shape of the buttons do not go well with the shape of the fingers or hand. I ultimately settled on the XS, because the Olympus lenses have limited, and I can not afford any of them. The nikon d3000, equally priced but does not have live view or agitate against. regardless, I'm happy with my purchase, gave four stars cuz looks very cool, but its a bit awkward in fact, the button layout once again focuses on the aesthetics and look good, but could be more functional (displacement thumb wheel anyone?) that only uses SD cards can be bad for ppl who want RAW photos faster. for JPEG but is very fast. vibration is automatically activated when you focus an image. did not get the prime objective value kit I've heard it sucks, but supposedly the newest version is much better than the previous but I have the 50mm for this and it's crazy good. The fact that so many canon-sissies out there kissing up fee means that you will find lots of lenses used for this purpose. Anyway, respect for all cameras, all have their ups and downs, but eventually the charge was the most features for me and a bunch of lenses Media luckily i can find a used one cheap.
