Nikon Digital SLR body for my old Nikon lenses?
I have no interest in doing more films, but I have all these good lenses and I want more of a point and shoot. I do not want to spend a lot. Is there a better 7meg or Nikon digital body to go to buy used lenses would work with my age?
Nikon, Fuji and Kodak at least one digital use of the Nikon F mount lens for your digital SLR, so not limited to choosing a Nikon. I believe that Fuji make their own bodies. The Kodak is based on a Nikon film body. The question is what the generation of the lens you have. As already mentioned, you can not use if you are non-AI (pre-1977). The IA and then the lenses have the same mountain, but have a tab open sensor arrangement is different. Only the bodies of some of the high range (F3, F4) did after they were able to use pre-AI lenses. Certainly not any of the digital bodies as far as I know.
