What is the best film of 35 mm for the grainy photos?
Em I have a Nikon 35mm camera, and am looking to take photographs color that are really grainy and vintage looks, being able to capture a high speed. I know there are tons of movies in high-ISO color out there, but I want to know what would be best for an image like this: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs333.ash1 / 28795_1489279029141_1148931908_1428111_4838573_n.jpg or this: http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs318.snc3/28545_1475114635040_1148931908_1389528_7201782_n.jpg sun, lots of grain, vintage look, and the quick capture of movement, is what I'm looking for.
Aiikedo, Try a movie with a fast ISO / ASA value. Faster offers grainy images (like a number High ISO digital cameras …). Options to consider for no color (B / W Ilford as mentioned elsewhere): Fuji Fujicolor Pro 800Z or Journalists (Superia) 1600. Note that color negative films can not be more helpful "push-processed. BTW, your first picture above appears to have been taken with a lomo camera and was caused by light leakage … Hope it helps. Good luck!
