Studio Lighting – Flash is enough?
I've been using a Nikon D60 to shoot indoors under tungsten light continuous 3 .. each of 500 watts. There seems to be enough light. I'm considering getting an external flash. My question is … If I buy an external flash do I need to purchase additional equipment such as lighting strobe or external flash will be sufficient? I am working with a budget of 1,000.
Sorry for asking, but are you sure the their halogen lights (tungsten) are each 500 watts of existence itself, or is that 500 total power for all 3 together? I'm just asking because you must provide 1500 watts you a light source powerful considerably. You can get a halogen light kit with 3000 watts total quality of about 600 or so. If your content with the tungsten light you have, you can get a professional 500 watts of light flash around 400, which is usually enough for a light flash large professional ensemble.
