Nikonians … Please Help … 35mm film question …?

I have to buy a 35mm SLR. I own a digital Nikon D80 and lenses that can be bodies used in cinema and film for my Nikon digital lenses. So the option of going with a Nikon film is an easy task. The choice of which camera to buy is so easy. I dropped my search to 4 options. The Nikon F5, which cost me $ 650/used/demo condition. F4s The Nikon, that cost me $ 400/used/excellent condition. The nikon f100, which cost me $ 800/brand new and .. The Nikon FM-10, which cost me $ 350/brand again with a goal included. My only real requirement or preferences are a vertical grip / shutter release, a fast shutter, and a feeling of solidity. Weight not a factor to consider. I have a Tokina 1224 and a Nikon 80-200 mm f/2.8 camera used to im-weighted heavier. I know the F4s and F5 have built vertical shutter releases, and the F100 has one optional handle. I want the best for the child, of course. It's bad to buy Adorama used to say, sight unseen?

I can vouch for the F4s like .. solid I had to use it as a defensive weapon can still use to shoot like a savage. Like my D200, which will use all my lenses, manual and autofocus. The F100 is very similar to my D100 or D200, which could be the same body. From Ken Rockwell: "The Nikon F100 is the second-best 35mm camera ever made. Surprise! In 2004, Nikon introduced the F6, which is a bit better but more expensive. Get an F6 if money is no object, get a used F100 if you want the buy of the century. I wrote all these pages again around 2003, by what they read in that context. "http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/f100intro.htm
