i am new to photography. Nikon D300s body w / 70-300mm f4.5-5.6 Nikkor. val is blocking Aper 4.5. Why?
I can push my Valentina F and up to f6, but when I try I can not go down to f4.0. Why? I'm doing the right thing? help.Ty
The maximum aperture varies with the zoom lens. In 70 mm is 4.5 and 300 is 5.6 (and varies between the two.) Go to 70 mm and you can select as low as 4.5, 300 mm can not be less than 5.6 (in this).
