what lens I get?
I am a photography student and have both a Nikon F65 (film SLR) and Sony A200 (digital SLR). After taking an educational trip to Gambia I realized my passion is wildlife photography. Currently I have default lenses for cameras and I wonder Why should I get the lenses that help me get brilliant shots of animals. Thank you.
Animal (and sports), photography requires long lenses. 200 mm is the shortest you can use to get great shots of wild animals. As you can guess, the long lenses cost much more than standard lenses used for everything else. I have to ask why the switching systems when it went from 35mm film to digital. It is finacially prudent to maintain the same system on especially as the Nikon system (both) have the greater choice of lenses measure. The objective of most use at the time of shooting wildlife is Nikkor 200-400 mm f / 4 lens (£ 4500.00 Inc VAT) I can use it on both my old Nikon F4 and my new Nikon DSLR for wildlife photography, both with 35mm and DSLR, will have to double lenses that can become not only cost prohibitive, but cumbersome to carry all their equipment in the wild also have noticed that Sony has only a few long lenses. The 300 mm f/2.8 would be great when shooting wildlife at dawn or dusk when most are out to eat, but it is a murderer in the budget of £ 5499.99 inc. VAT. The 70-400mm would be a good choice but at least 400 mm f/5.6, which is combating the problems of the camera or Movement of animals unless they shoot at high ISOs (£ 1599.99 inc. VAT). There is a 500 mm lens economic mirror only £ 599.99 inc. VAT, which is small and compact, but with a fixed aperture of f / 8 and you can see what kind of crazy exposure settings that will be responsible for shooting wildlife with the lens. If you are not heavliy invested in the Sony DSLR system, I suggest you buy a good Nikon D90, and then you will have access to more than 60 different current objectives and older lenses that can be used in both the F65 and digital SLR. As you can see, switching systems can be expensive camera. VAT, but again it is a photograph of the lens slowly animals more of a challenge under the best conditions. Include a sturdy monopod well with long lenses. Hand holding a lens of 300 mm or more, can be difficult, even for experienced nature photographers.
