Photographers: I know I need some sort of radio slave trigger for my SB600 flash on Nikon D80?
Which is exactly what I have to buy to do all this work? can provide some links to where I can buy bnphoto.com say everything I need with this? I also wonder if I need a battery pack and if so what? I'm having a hard time with SPESEFICALLY know what to get. any help is greatly appreciated! I want to be able to utilize without using my SB600 flash on my camera. I want to be able to create a dramatic lighting in my pictures .. Is there any way for this to be done? Thus, For example if I were to use my camera flash to trigger the SB600 i wouldnt get the effect I want dramatic
The previous answers are correct can set the flash to be the commander and set it to flash fires a preflash itself only. Thus, the SB600 (only) the firing of a flash in command of the camera. In fact, you can use the control flashes the camera to shoot multiple other basic rules you can do many things you can do with studio flashes with flashes. The disadvantage of creative lighting system is the SB600 will be in a place where you can 'see' Commander preflash so that you may have about the body of the camera flash and turn the torch to the track.
