broken shutter on my 35mm SLR camera, help?
35 mm Nikon FM2 camera shutter I just stopped working today. Was pressed the button to take a photograph, with adjustment 250. However, the shutter is stuck open, as if it had at B and is pressed the button below. The advance lever is now trapped in the place as if it hurt, but did not take a picture, however, and when you look through the camera, all I can see is black. Also, now just press the button down and nothing happens, because the shutter does not move at all. Please, please, help me please!
Try GENTLY lever operation of film advance to Recock the shutter. If that fails, ask about having to provide services an authorized Nikon service center. At most, you may have CLA (clean, lube, adjustment), at worst, a shot of replacement would be necessary.
