type 35 mm camera – Nikkormat?
I'm trying to figure out what exact type of camera I have. I know that once my father wanted to know how old he was, and went on the Nikon website and somehow found a camera index containing all the cameras. none of us can find now. I wonder what's for my portfolio review incase you ask me. I do not want to look like an idiot. Does anyone know where I can find online? information you can find in most of the camera is a "FT 4335233" at the top of the camera for roll film and light meters.
According to my reference books, is a Nikkormat FT did in 1965. Has some interesting features like mirror lock up which eliminates the shutter when movement shooting. Uses a mercury cell 1.35, but do nothing more, so you can use a 1.35 Wein zinc-air cell to replace it. Nikon little changed from the Nikkormat FTN, M2 and FT3
