You have a couple of options. Manually can assign the label on the computer. Or you can buy a camera that does it for you, but most who do well are quite expensive. Based on the linked article "How to Geo-Tag Photos – GPS Notes" that searches a Nikon D200, Canon EOS 1D Mark III, Fuji S5's, Kodak DC265 and DC290, and the Ricoh 500SE. Note: Apple's iPhone is labeled Geographic photos, but do not have a GPS unit. It triangulates your position based on the relative strength of cell towers. If you are somewhere where there is no cell towers can not find where you are. With some of the models are still need an external GPS unit can be connected to the camera. Some cameras work with a bluetooth connection and others need a special cable (like the D200). Make sure you know what your model uses. The cameras that work with GPS content will be less flaky, but of course there is more gear. Check out the articles linked to see how to add geotag information to the photos after the fact. If you embed geo-tag information in the EXIF data, programs that can use that information. NOTE: Some services like Flickr to read EXIF data and automatically generate the Flickr geotagged EXΙF your information.
