between the Nikon D300s and 7d canon is a better camera overall?
I'm looking to make the best investment for my money, I have no lenses at the same time so limited, im not to any particular brand. Each has its advantages, but I want to know what is a more professional grade camera. Also, what is easier to navigate and the best bonuses for shooting? HD Video I do not care at all.
Depends on what you are going to shoot. I have been a Nikon girl from my first 35mm film camera and have always had wonderful results and was very loyal to the brand. I purchased as an upgrade to D300S my D200. I photograph families and children and sometimes the wedding, so my subjects are mainly people. The red D300S not handle well, which is a bad thing when people photography. I switched to a Canon 7D that is equally great in low light and gives, beautiful creamy skin tones. I know some people love their D300 and I have seen photographers portrait work that I really love the use of that camera. But I never, do not look back on my decision. As the owner of the two (former owner of D300s) I would suggest 7D hands down.
