Problem with loading pics onto the computer? Help?

I have a Nikon Coolpix and I wanted to load the pictures i took onto my laptop.
I installed the software, hooked up the camera, but when everything was done my computer didn’t respond at all.
Nothing popped up on the screen, and the camera didn’t show up on device manager.
Also when I checked device manager, under universal serial bus controllers it had four Intel (for lack of a better word) things, and below those it had four USB Root Hub (again, for lack of a better word) things.
Each of the USB Root Hub’s had an icon with a yellow circle containing an exclamation point…

I have no idea what to do.
Any ideas?
If it helps, when i click on the USB Root Hub icon, under General it says:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

and under the Power tab it says:
This hub is not working properly.

What do I do?
And thanks if you can help

try uninstalling then reinstalling the software that came with the camera. If that didn’t work then look on their website for possible driver or software updates.
When you installed the software for the camera it should have installed all the drivers, so the problem is most likely that the software didn’t install quite right.

Layar Jins Shamsudin bersama Nikon!
