Nikon D90 is a young operator. The D80 sensor was known for its quality and was a great midrange dSLR. The D90 has so much to prove, especially considering its price.
The D90 that we received was accompanied by a 18-105 mm VR lens ", with a 6x optical zoom: This type of range can capture from wide angle good telescopic images (for best telescopic images, you should consider the Nikon 18-200 mm lens).
Operation the D90 is pretty simple – two shift dials are present – one in the front of the shutter release button and one in the back near the screen. Accessing them is simple and feel of the brand is very good too, but holding the camera can be a problem for users with smaller hands.
The lens focus ring is in the body instead of the tip of the lens as in some of the other cameras. The camera focuses quickly, even in low light, and manual focus is easy.
The 3-inch screen is exceptionally good, and Nikon has launched Live View on this camera that lets you focus using the screen. The general reaction is that professional photographers are not really fond of this feature. Another interesting addition to the camera is recording function 720p HD video. Video quality is good, the only drawback here is the manual focus.
The D90 with the AF-S DX VR 18-105/3.5-5.6G lens is priced at Rs. 83 950. It is a big fan of multi-use camera, however!
