How do you pause on a Nikon Coolpix L11 Camera?

yeah I wanna know how to pause it while you’re recording a video.
ok apparently I can’t pause it. But can anybody tell me why I can’t import the video into Windows Movie Maker
I read through the manual, and there is no mention of pausing videos, so I guess it can’t be done.
Looks like you’ll have to stop it, then combine the segments in something like Windows Movie Maker.
