What about my nikon coolpix l20?
I have this camera for Christmas and have been taking some photos, so a couple of days I wanted to upload them on my computer. (which is an emachines computer w / Windows XP, if that matters) Anyway I took the rope and put it in the camera and the problem is that it's not fit all along? It fits but it sorta like my old Kodak camera while spending altogether, but my brother told me it was okay because the cable iPod touch and still does the same charges, etc. Then I tried to continue to upload my photos, but did not appear on the computer? My computer can not even say the hardware is installed on the computer?! & Always does. And I did install the software that comes with it on a CD. But what's the problem? Why not upload my photos? And do not think my computer has a small slot to put my memory card where I can upload them from there, so I'm kind of relying on my camera … I hope will not have to return this.
Is there a single USB port on the computer? If more than one attempt at all and if you do the same in all of them, then check cable to see if there is something wrong with the part that connect to the computer. If everything seems in place and no metal contacts are bent or anything, then you probably need to use more pressure when you plug in just jiggle a bit and put some force behind it.
