My pictures Zoo matte Is there anything I can do in the future to improve them?

Fui zoo over the weekend to some practical skills. Have a few images that was pretty good, but most of its opaque appearance. Think it might be since it is a zoo and not only not a lot of color. However, he had looked at some photos on their site and look brighter and vivid than mine. Anything I could do to improve or any otherwise need? Mostly I use with my Nikon D70 Tamron AF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 LD Tele-Macro (1:3.9) for the objective lens and a bit of kit. Not Tamron lens filters. A flash, tripod or something have helped encourage this a bit grateful?

First, you did not mention the ewather or time of day you visited the zoo so I can not say with certainty whether you have visited on a cloudy day or at noon? Can I consider the images that are boring are probably due the lack of color contrast or no pop. You try to visit early in the morning or at night if possible, so that natural light can be better. A tripod can be helpful but the problems only if you are having with blurred images, or need more depth of field (and therefore a smaller opening). However, since animals probably not be maintained, with a tripod may be a moot point anyway since the movement of animals will result in blurred images. Flash can help slightly (to cover) but also depends on the distance to the subject. In most zoos, animals are probably quite far from what the flash can not help in that regard. The best advice I have is to choose a time of day when natural light can be better for you. You probably also need to put in a lot of effort doing post-processing the photos. Bump up the saturation and contrast and see if that helps.
