ok so my Nikon ML-L3 wireless remote control has just arrived in the mail that comes in the small box that didn't have one pls … .>^_^<. help manual

The ML-L3 does not work with all Nikon DSLR In my case goes to work with my D40, but not the D300. must have an infrared receiver on the camera body to work, In the d40 to enter the camera menu to adjust the way they want it to work, but the D50 is established with the self-timer button next to the shutter button (the icon is a circle with a line around of the 11 oclock on it) You might want to put a rapid response to distance said they should work with the D50. Its on page 22 and 23 of its manual here http://www.cleaningdigitalcameras.com/pdf/Nikon_D50.pdf

    So does the ML-L3 remote control work on the D3000 model as is ? Or does the D3000 need an infrared receiver thingy ?
