Looking for a quality camera?

I am looking for a new camera to save. I received a Samsung L100 a year ago, and was not the quality I wanted. I was looking for either a Canon, Nikon, Olympus, or I do not know which model to get. I take pictures of landscapes, if that helps.

What about a $ 230 Canon Powershot ELPH SD1200IS compact [digital camera from Amazon.com], which is currently rated by Consumer Reports testing [September '09] issue. At the "P", "10M 3648×2736" "Vivid" and the video format "320×240 30 fps," will generate "amazing" color and even home movies. And the quality built-in microphone is able to record guitar music as well. Good luck!
