Nikon scope?
Can not decide between the Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14×40 I can do now, or should save a little more and pay the additional $ 100 for Monarch 4-16X42? Is it that much better? 12BVSS followed by a savage .223. Thanks, sorry I forgot to mention that this will be an installation bug, shooting game and targets small to 400yrds.
Are you sure that the need to expand so much? I think a 3-9×40 would be good for anything that a .223 would shoot, but of the two, I can not see paying $ 100 for an essential upgrade from 40mm to 42mm in the output. 1 My recommendation would be the Prostaff Series 3-9×40, the Buckmaster.
