Question for film shooters?
Does anyone know if the Nikon F75 (N75 or U2) can make a mirror pre-fire? No MLU in this range cameras, so I was thinking about the timer flipping out of the way for certain shots with slower shutter speeds. Any Another recommendation for a cheap film SLR, used in good quality? I am thinking of buying a 35mm SLR camera to play with, and I like the feature set in the F75.
The N75 does a mirror pre-fire. Depends on what you want to go cheap. For less than $ 400, can pick up used F5 professional level. And that a major step above the mirror lock N75/F75 and 8 fps. Or if you want a really good manual focus SLR, the Nikon has FM2n mirror lock in relation with the trigger is fully automatic and manual, except for measurement. In other words, if your meter dies, you can still take pictures because the shutter and manual focus are purely – No batteries required. The FM2n has a great shooting system (tops out at 1 / 4000) and high-speed flash sync (1 / 200 in the first models; 1 / 250 in later models). The only drawback is that it is not an AF camera.
