Question for film shooters?

Does anyone know if the Nikon F75 (N75 or U2) can make a mirror pre-fire? No MLU in this range cameras, so I was thinking about the timer flipping out of the way for certain shots with slower shutter speeds. Any Another recommendation for a cheap film SLR, used in good quality? I am thinking of buying a 35mm SLR camera to play with, and I like the feature set in the F75.

The N75 does a mirror pre-fire. Depends on what you want to go cheap. For less than $ 400, can pick up used F5 professional level. And that a major step above the mirror lock N75/F75 and 8 fps. Or if you want a really good manual focus SLR, the Nikon has FM2n mirror lock in relation with the trigger is fully automatic and manual, except for measurement.
