Thinking of buying a new Nikon lens. Any suggestions?
I have a D80 and the lens I'm using is a DX lens. [AF-S Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED] I have been using this for a year without any other purpose. I always found it impossible to take photos of about faces and objects nearby. On the other hand, appears a little too heavy for me. I'm considering buying a new goal. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. PS. I have not taken a photography class ever and I know almost nothing about photography in general. thanks, guys. >: D <
If there is a light, fast lens is what you want, you can not beat the AF-S 35mm f1.8 lens. Is fantastic in low light. Shooting my camera for this purpose for 95% of the time: http://www.adorama.com/NK3518U.html If you need extreme close up, I either get the AF-S DX 85 mm f3.5 VR Micro http://www.adorama.com/NK8535VRU.html or AF-S 60mm F2.8 http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-60mm-2-8G-Micro-Nikkor -Cameras/dp Micro / B0013A1XDY/ref = sr_1_10? is ie = UTF8 & s = photo and four times a day = 1271135363 & SR = 1.10
