It Nikkor 50mm F1.8 D lens fit Nikon D40?
I want to buy a new lens for my camera and I've noticed that many of the photographers who use Nikon use Lens 50 mm F 1.8. I want to know if I can put that lens on my camera? And the lenses of another good that I could look to get, they are not terribly expensive?
You can put the camera lens and a good lens, but no autofocus on the D40. We will work with the measurement and all other functions, but not the focus automatic. You need a AF-S or AF-I lenses if you want the autofocus with the D50. These lenses have those letters right on the lens along with the rest of the name of the target. If you want an autofocus "normal" the primary objective, you have to settle for manual focus, I do not see a lens that is Prine Nikon AF-S or AF-I.
