What is the best macro lens for a Nikon D90 budget?

I'm on a budget, I would prefer to be under RM1500. (I live in Malaysia) So far I have seen and liked is 90mm f/2.8 Tamron SP AF Di Macro 1:01. Not sure if I consider Nikkor AF 50mm f1.8D. How does it compare with the Tamron? The lens is used with close-ups of water droplets, flowers, possibly, some insects, etc, so some 90 mm or more would be nice. What is your opinion on the Tamron, or are there other lens would you recommend? Sorry, I was not aware that it was a 50mm macro lens, since I have seen in a forum that was: S Thanks for the heads up, though. So now is the Tamron the only one I'm considering. I'm looking for a zoom lens either.

The 90mm f/2.8 Tamron SP AF Di Macro is a goal 1:01 macro in perfect condition, will be out to solve the sensor and gives a little vague, but pleasant warm colors. I doubt anyone could compare the macro to the macro f/2.8 Tamron Nikon 105 mm and see no noticeable difference in real photographs. If you're on a budget, I would jump on ebay and buy a larger f/2.8 manual focus using the 55 mm (of/3.5) Micro Nikkor macro or really any first compatible with Nikon F mount Vivitar Macro made an impressive 60 mm was produced by a company Kiron called – are relatively rare, but if you can find one, you can get cheap because people are intimidated by the Vivitar relabelled. Tamron (including Adaptall) Sigma, Vivitar, Sears, and of course all made decent Nikon manual focus lenses for Nikon macro. They usually come in the range of 55-60mm or 90-105 range, choose accordingly.
