"I can install my old Nikon lenses on a new digital camera with or without an adapter?
The lenses I have are: Nikon 70-210mm f/4-5.6 AF Zoom-Nikkor D Nikon AF 35-70mm f / 2.8 D Could adapt to a new Nikon digital camera? If so, what models? Also, would it be possible to use somehow an adapter to put on the Canon Digital Rebel XT? Thanks.
Currently I have used my old Nikon AF successfully on my D50, D70, D200 and no problem. The only exceptions to that rule would fully support the current D40, D40, D60 or, as they lack internal autofocus motor and must be manually focused. At this time, my time TV of choice is an old Nikon 75-300mm f/4.5-5.6 AF Nikkor. There is zero compatibility issues with my current digital. This is one of the strengths of Nikon, as there is a longer history of support than almost any other DSLR manufacturer. http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/compatibility-lens.htm http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/compatibility.htm Just a reminder, with the exception of the new D3, with its full-frame sensor, all other Nikon digital SLRs have a crop factor of 1.5, equivalent to give their lenses of different perspectives in the digital world. His 70-210mm becomes a 105-315mm and 35-70mm becomes a 53-105mm. As for your last question, yes, you can use an adapter for a "Canon" XT. Hope this helps.
