Nikon fields, Which is better?
Hello, I want to buy a good platform for a 22, and I want to fit a gauge shot gun 12 (in case you decide to change) … I am in two options, the Nikon ProStaff 2-7X32 or 3-9×40 version. I heard the bigger the lens, the best … But heard more eye relief is better with the shotgun 12guage (due to the fall) .. It is the 40 mm optical noti al. ceably better than 32 mm? Or are sufficiently Nearby ALSO is 0.3 in the difference between the two eye relief areas, a large business? (The lens 32 is 3.8 mm and 40 mm is 3.6) .. Is it that much or a difference? 0.3 inches? Both areas are around same price, what would choose, which is compatible with both firearms? Http: / / cgi.ebay.com / ws / eBayISAPI.dll? I really need AGENDA TONIGHT !!!!!!!!
In my opinion the two are too much leeway to own guns. You do not need a scope for relatively short range of the gun or 0.22. Try a low-power adjustable or better yet a fixed low power scope. The type of hunting / shooting that will be used to also be a factor. A scope gun designed to provide the best eye relief when used in the shotgun. A ring designed range 0.22 can not hold up to the recoil of the gun. If you are trying to team two guns to the same extent, have removable rings for the scope and basis of two, one for each weapon. Since the distance between the scope rings may not coincide with the mounting of both weapons, it is probably a better idea to get different areas. The difference between 40 mm and 32 mm targets is negligible taking into account the enlargement of the areas available ranges offer size to the objectives.
