How I can fix a lens error on my Nikon Coolpix camera?
I have a Nikon Coolpix S630. while on holiday, my camera started to receive the errors of the lens when it shuts down or zoom in or out too. It puts a target error almost every time I turn it off. To use my camera again, I have remove the battery and reinsert it when you turn it on again, the goal zooms in and out repeatedly until i get a lens error again. If I have the lens I can down you get the error goal, once again, but then I can use later on and off again. I look to get it fixed or just get a new camera?
I have a Nikon Coolpix L15. This happened once to me and I had sand in it. If Nikon still under warranty should be set free. It depends on how old she is, how long have you had? So basically, if it is new, then that is obviously unacceptable and if still under warranty you should get it fixed. If more than 4 or 5 years old who just got a new camera. Or you can fix it but I think the Coolpix does not last long and it would not be worth putting extra money in it. (Since it is not worth much.) Hope this helps!
