In addition to the Nikon D90, any other SLR camera with video capture high definition? Also thoughts on the D90?
Hello, I'm doing my first SLR camera. I would also like to have a camera that can take videos. I have a video camera, but I want to be able to take videos high quality with my SLR camera as well. So far I have only found the Nikon D90 that can do this, is there any other SLR that can do this? If not, please share their ideas about the Nikon D90.
The new Canon EOS 5D Mark II can also record video and can capture an even higher resolution the Nikon D90, also require a much higher price tag to the D90. The D90 records 720p HD resolutions, while the EOS 5D Mark II in 1080p Full HD (1080 x 1920 D90 vs of 1280 x 720) pixel resolution. Said that the two SLR cameras are the first digital SLR to do even for the consumer market (video recording) both are capable of recording in HD resolution sensors and the two high-end uses a CMOS image. Live View composing is available for other cameras the optical viewfinder typical course. Note also the D90 CAN NOT autofocus (AF) in movie mode (video recording) just before entering movie mode you can set the AF. While the EOS 5D Mark II is able to do so both before and during the movie mode (a bit awkward without a tripod support). They can focus DSLR manual (MF) during the movie mode. Meanwhile DSLR can record audio in movie mode that can only record in mono from the microphone incorporated. The EOS 5D Mark II image sensor is 21.1 megapixels with a 3.0-inch TFT LCD 920 000 pixels of the camera while the D90 uses an image of 12.9 megapixel sensor, also with a screen of 920 000 pixel 3.0 inch TFT-LCD. The EOS 5D Mark II with respect to the D90 is full-frame sensor, while the D90 uses sensor APS C-size, so really there is no real direct comparison between the two is complete and a totally different picture of the league. Make your note also Panasonic Lumix G1 the other chamber "prosumer" (not DSLR) that is capable of recording video and still images with interchangeable lenses has added an electronic viewfinder (EVF) instead of an optical viewfinder (OVF). However, it can shoot HD video on SD only.
