How I can download pictures from my Nikon Coolpix to my Dell Inspiron 1300?
Do I need special software? Or should that automatically you can download photos?
1. Plugged in via USB 2. When you open a window with a list of options for the camera, select to import. The names of your files if you wish. If the computer doesn't ask. Go to My Computer. > Click the camera icon (usually at the bottom) and select the folder (s) you want to save to your hard drive. Right click the files or folders and drop down menu appears. Select "Send To" and then My Pictures. If that does not work. Open the folder for the camera, both from My Computer and My Pictures folder. You need to click and drag each folder. Do it like a folder and not each individual image and life will be much easier and faster.
