How to correctly use a tripod?
I am thinking of buying a new lens (Nikon 70-200), it seems that I have to use the tripod collar to maintain their weight correctly. I wonder if there is something complicated.
Not at all complicated about them. The tripod collar around the lens assures and gives a new tripod mount on the bottom. No need to use one, but the tripod moves closer to the center of gravity of the camera so that best balances and not insist on the lens mount.
