What is the difference between these 2 lenses Nikon DSLR?
Nikon 55-200mm F4.5-5.6G AF-S VR DX Black Lens and Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6 AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor Lens and are both compatible with the Nikon D40 plain? Thanks in advance!
The 2 refer to the exact same lens. And all that work well with a D40. I use it with my D40 and works well. Note to obtain the VR lens. There is not a cheaper version of the 55-200 VR, but the optical quality is supposedly worse. VR also comes on the lot hand one with telephoto lenses as they are easily affected by camera shake.
