I am looking for a reasonable price point and shoot digital camera that uses waterproof SD cards.?

After wetting and destroying two houses in two years I have given up on "trying to keep it dry" in plastic bags. I rowing, boat, fish, water skiing, hiking and camping in Northwest rain and it is clear that plastic bags will not work for me. I have a Nikon D40 uses SD cards (and never goes near water), so they have a significant investment in SD (as well as a card reader, etc). I love the Olympus 720 SW is to assess the depth and shockproof rating but uses xD card. Does anyone have experience with cameras waterproof? I am NOT interested in waterproof cases and I am not a diver.
