I also I have the D60 and custom 600 / adjustment work he only recommended the Nikon SB400. I have and I think its a great flash. That's probably why you can not make it work. Additional Info: I have not seen anything like that so I do not know how it works, but the way I use my remote control is to go to the custom settings menu (pencil), release mode, then Quick response selected distance. Might not work for you?
