whats best nikon digital slr camera, to use old ai lenses.?
have lots of manual ai lenses. want to buy nikon slr digital ,need advise on which is best. nikon d-70 goes about 300.00 used. any work better with manual lenses.
AI lenses fit on all of the nikon digital cameras and you can take photos
The D3, D2 and D1 as well as the D300 D700 and D200 will meter with this lens in A and M modes but the D1 will do CW and Spot Only not matrix metering
The other Nikon digital cameras will work in manual mode with this lens but no TTL meter
None of these will autofocus as this is not an autofocus lens
