With medium format camera F-mount lens?
Hi, I'm an amateur photographer who has been shooting 35 for a few months. I inherited a Nikon F3 with 4 primes, and wanted to find a medium format camera with an F-mount. I looked online for a Nikon FM, but could not find any. Is there a lens adapter that I get to use my cousins in a MF Mamiya or Pentax camera?
That will not work. 35 mm cameras are designed to cover only the area of 35mm film. Outside this area, the image is very dark (almost black). That cost much more $ $ $ to design and manufacture lenses MF, MF film can cover. That's why none of 35 mm lens can cover film area MF. I have many Nikon and 1 Mamiya. Good Luck …
