Nikon D80 – Advice for photography in the aquarium?

I'm going to the aquarium on Friday and I take my new Nikon D80 to take some pictures. So far, I only have the goal of the kit – AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G edii. What settings should I worry? .. Any exact configuration that you would recommend experience? .. Is it better to keep the right of the lens in the crystal, or a few inches away? .. all the advice I have at all is appreciated:)

Use a higher ISO which can be used to using (like 400) your lens is right and try to keep your shutter speed at or above 1/125th second. Put the right of the lens in the glass so that you receive no consideration. No NOT use flash. Be sure to check and see if water is being illuminated by direct sun, sun or shade fluorescent lamps. You will need to set the white balance to match your lighting. If you find that the aquarium is too dark, follow ahead and use their cameras high ISO setting, because getting the shot is more important than getting blurry pictures that have no noise.
